Today’s breakfast was a turkey B.L.T. from the deli, 12 Points Plus.

Lunch was a can of Annie’s cheesy ravioli with one cookie. O-n-e, one, 11 Points Plus.
I’ve been worrying about how I’m going to fit C25k in three times this week, so I decided to do week 2, day 1 today, a day early. Plus I just really wanted to! I was nervous to start the new week because I didn’t know whether I’d be able to handle the new difficulty level. Week 1 was 60 seconds of running alternating with 90 seconds of walking for 20 minutes. Week 2 is 90 seconds of running alternating with 2 minutes of walking for 20 minutes. I will say that this workout kicked my butt slightly harder than the previous one, but the 90 second runs were surprisingly tolerable. I really needed the two minutes in between, and if that had been even a few seconds shorter I may not have been able to make it! And I definitely spent some time completely zoned out & on autopilot. I’ll have to see whether three days at this level is going to be enough, but if not, so what? I’ll just do it for more days. When I finished today I did not feel euphoric. I felt sore. Maybe next time! But luckily the soreness was in my muscles, not in my knees.
After that I rested for awhile, then did my arm, butt, & thigh challenges.
An apple in the afternoon, then a second one, zero Points Plus.
I know these things are not the best to look at, but I used to really enjoy them. They’re kind of comfort food to me because we ate them when I was growing up. But today the crust just seemed really oily and I did not enjoy it. I think new habits are forming. There’s one more of these in the freezer that I may eat on some empty-cupboard evening, but I don’t think I’ll buy them again.
