It’s the last day of the long weekend, but it’s also Moday, so I thought I’d better get back on track.
I started the day with the 30 day arm, butt, and thigh challenges for 1 Activity Point.
So far so good, but I had an itch that had to be satisfied, so it was chips and cottage cheese, for 7 Points Plus.
Not the best, but not insurmountable, but then: 5 Points Plus.
You’ll be relieved to know that there are now no more chips in the house. (Because they’re in my belly, but you know, details…)
After that I decided that I’d better actually do some Wii Fit today, and I did, but only 30 minutes/3 activity points.
I followed it with some veggies, 0 Points Plus.
And that…brings us to noon. Unbelievable, right? However, I will say that I seem to be hungriest in the morning, and I find overall that it’s better to eat when I’m hungry in order to avoid over eating later.
I still wanted to salvage the day, so I made a plan…and then I stuck to it. I decided to not use any more points until dinner, that I’d have dinner earlier than normal, and figured out that dinner would be 13 Points Plus. That would leave me with three Points Plus for a snack in the evening, since there’s a lot of time between an early dinner and bedtime.
So in the afternoon, zero Points Plus.
Dinner, 13 Points Plus.
And in the evening, watching Enchanted Kingdom with my daughter, three cups of air popped popcorn with salt and 1 tsp. olive oil, 3 Points Plus.
