Finishing the Week Big

Daily Points Plus allotment: 42

I was really hungry today, and used a lot of Points Plus, but tomorrow is weigh in and I’m well within my points for the week.

Breakfast: leftover Taco Bell, nasty finery. 1/2 shredded chicken smothered burrito & a diet Snapple, 8 Points Plus

 

Still hungry: Luna protein bar: 5 Points Plus   

I had planned not to do any Wii Fit Plus today, but while I was waiting for my turn in the shower a strange thing happened. I got tired of sitting around! Weirdness!  I didn’t want to wear out my legs because I knew I’d be walking later in the day, so I just did Big Top Juggling for 30 minutes, earning 3 activity points. It felt too short and like a lazy half workout, and the thought of that made me feel amazing. A month ago I thought of exercise as something to be avoided and a 10 minute walk was a chore. Now apparently I can’t make it through a morning without itching for some exercise! That is real progress. This also makes me feel more confident that I’ll be able to find time to exercise even after I get busier next month. Because I’ll just be restless if I don’t. These feelings are completely alien to me.

Lunch: Turkey BLT from the deli: 9 Points Plus
I removed the top and just ate the insides + the bread on the bottom. Bonus: removing the top of the roll also removed part of the mayo. 

Later in the afternoon I picked up some mozzarella sticks from the fried chicken place.   

At least I earned one activity point  for walking about 15 minutes.

There’s not actually anything wrong with this in terms of points, but I’m afraid it will still be with me when I weigh myself tomorrow. Oh well, I’ve seen nice numbers on the scale all week. There’s nothing specifically magical about the number I happen to see at weigh in time.

Afternoon hunger, another Luna bar, 5 Points Plus 

At this point I was all “For dinner I can just get a roasted chicken breast salad with no cheese and red wine vinegarette from Subway for 3 points, and I’ll be golden.”

Then ugh. I did it. I’m not happy about it, but I did it. A klondike bar, 7 Points Plus   

Early evening, 0 Points Plus;  

Dinner: The salad didn’t happen. Instead, sushi, 19 Points Plus. 

Tomorrow morning is weigh in. Dunh dunh dunh.
